Student launches Italian American Chorale![]() Viviana Garabello moved from Italy last year in order to pursue her passion for music. She has started a chorale that has about 10 members. She would like double that number and would like Madonna University students to consider joining. Rehearsals are conducted 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. every Friday at the Italian American Club of Livonia, Five Mile and I-275.
![]() Never underestimate the power of a grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato soup, especially for a quick meal between classes. The restaurant is off Haggerty near Seven Mile in Northville Township. Prices range from $3 to $7 and customers can build their own sandwiches.

8 new sports added to Madonna Athletics
Madonna University is bringing in eight new sports to the school to draw more students to the school and provide more activities for students.
The new sports are men's and women's lacrosse, indoor track, outdoor track, and bowling. The new sports will start in 2016-17. Patrick Dougherty (pictured at left) has been named the new indoor and outdoor track coach for both men and women. He adds these sports to his current duty as cross country coach. Bryan Bressler has been named the new bowling coach for both squads. |
Golfers raise more than $50,000 for student scholarships
The Madonna Golf Classic is an event that has been held for 20 years to raise money for scholarships and this year's version attracted a record number of golfers.
